Pictured with her friend, Timmy, Heather has been a veterinary technician for over twenty years and has had the privilege to work in the Cat Thyroid Center for the past 3 years.  She finds it tremendously fulfilling to be able to help fabulous felines and their cat guardians.  She specializes as a “kitty whisperer” for our more nervous patients and loves to help them feel safe and calm in our homey environment.  She is caretaker for two demanding cats and a flock of rescued parrots.  Her other passions include volunteering at the Florida Aquarium’s Sea Turtle Rehab Center,  traveling the world and going to Tampa Bay Lightning games with her long time boyfriend, Jeff.
